DPS-School Uniform

1. The School Uniform is a discipline in itself and should be adhered to by all the  students. The set pattern and colour should be correctly followed. All students  are expected to wear the School uniform as specified. Parents are expected to ensure that their wards are in proper uniform before leaving home
2. However, any student requiring to be exempted from the set pattern due to health of personal reasons can approach the Principal with his/her specific  request.

Classes: Pre-Nursery, Nursery and Prep

Uniform as prescribed by the Head of the School (subject to the local climatic conditions).

Bottle green turbans for sikh boys(Classes IX-XII).
Black Nivia shoes with velcro( Classes I- III).
Black school shoes with laces (Classes IV- XII).
House Uniform:
House T-Shirt and green shorts for boys(classes I- VII).
House T-Shirt and green trousers (Classes VIII-XII).
White P.T shoes and House socks.

White tunics (Classes I-III).
White shirt (Half Sleeves).
White slip should always be worn under the shirt with white cycling shorts.
White skirt till the knees (Classes IV- XII).
Bottle green belt with school emblem .

Grey socks with green strips.
Bottle green patkas for sikh boys (Classes I- VIII).
Bottle green turbans for sikh boys (Classes IX- XII) .
Black Nivia school shoes with velcro(Classes I- III).
Black school shoes with laces (Classes IV- XII).
     
Girls (Classes I-XII)

White full sleeved shirt (as per approved pattern).
Bottle Green Blazer (Single Breast with buttons on the opposite side) with school emblem, (Compulsory for all).
Plain bottle green jersey with 'V' Neck (With or without sleeves).
Grey worsted skirts (as per pattern) till the knees.
School tie and belt with school emblem.
Grey socks with green stripes.
Grey panty hose for girls(optional).
Bottle green hair band/ribbons.
Black Nivia school shoes with velcro(Classes I- III).
Black school shoes with laces (Classes IV- XII)
PS.: No fancy hair clips or jewellery allowed.
     

Note
1. For all students, the proper footwear in both summer and winter is black leather shoes. No shoes or any other colour or kind nor slippers or other forms of high heel shoes are permissible.
2. The cut of trouser should be straight. Fancy trousers like flares or bell bottoms or drain pipes etc.are not permitted.
3. Girls must wear the right lenght of skirt. The skirt must fall on/till the knees.
4.White vests /slip should always be worn under the shirt by all students (boys/girls) .
5.White cycling shorts for girls are compulsory.
6. As long as a student is on the School Rolls he/she must come to school in uniform.
